Tests your well or city water for the presence of Sulfate Reducing Bacteria.

Sulfate reducing bacteria feed on sulphur compounds including sulfate, sulfite, elemental sulfur, and thiosulfate. They are the producers of the "rotten-egg" odor that is frequently an indicator that these bacteria are present. Other symptoms may include: blackening of the water or black slime formed in the back of a toilet tank.

Returns require pre-authorization.

Return shipping of the water sample to the laboratory is not included. Return of water sample needs to occur within 1 day of sampling. If you need testing to meet regulatory or litigation purposes please contact us for tests designed for this purpose.
